In This Mega Fashion Show Event, Professional Foreign Models from Europe, Russia, Eurasia along with North-East Indian top models will walk down the run-a-way to cheering crowd.
The Mega Fashion Event is project to showcase the different Ethnic Attires, handloom & handicrafts and also blended fusion of East & West fashion culture.

The main objective of the endeavour is focused to in bringing peace through its diversity, where the people and the youth on particular get to know of their cutural identity and the beauty hidden into it. And also to promote the existing sense of glamour and beauty since antiquity, at the national and international standards.

 Foreign Models for the event ELEGANCE OF THE INDIGENOUS will reach Imphal on 25th April 2013. Audition have been done for the event at Delhi recently. Selected Models are as follows:

DETAILS OF THE RAMP SEQUENCE

In this Fashion Event there will be 4 (four) round sequences.

1. 9 Hills & 1 Valley : Manipur comprises 9 hills and 1 valley. In the first round our attempt is made to show all the natural charms of these people in their traditional costumes. The close affinity of these costumes in their diversity shows their inherent origin. The land, the nature, the heritage, the blending of impressions of thousands years buoyant on its unique rhythm of Freedom.

2. Rani’s Regal and Piquant Pheege: Manipur is a land of festivals and religious ceremonies. Rani Phee (Silk chadar) and Pheege (Silk wrapper) are made of fine silk and coarse silk respectively. And the motives are indigenous and reflects the identity and aspiration of the people, these two are associated with happiness, merry making and regality.

3. Cosmic Cotton : Cotton is used all over the world and being a natural fabric is the most skin friendly and comfortable to use. This round endeavor to present this universal fabric as an indigenous item with traditional motives with international standard designs.

4. Labour of love: Muga (Silk) made of Kege is indeed a labour of love. It is the traditional way of threading coarse silk from silk cocoon. It needs real patience and love for the job to really produce silk thread from the cocoons. It is one of the most eco-friendly material. Kege Muga (coarse silk) is a 100% product of nature. This round endevour to present universal standard design with traditional motive.
